Innovations in Action
Our work spans multiple areas of assistive and safety technology. Each project is built with real-world impact in mind and backed by rigorous testing and research.
Spill-O-Not
A non-contact material level indicator developed for blind and visually impaired users. Spill-O-Not uses time-of-flight sensing to detect fill levels with high precision. The system has been patented and evaluated across a wide range of substances.

Social Distancing Reminder (SDR) / Firefly
Licenced to GQ Electronics, this wearable LiDAR-based distance monitoring device was created to help users maintain safe distances in public environments. Initially developed for pandemic response, the technology has broader applications in crowd-aware alert systems.
AI Radiation Health Companion
In collaboration with the University of Washington Sensors' Energy and Automation Laboratory, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Nuclear Measurement Laboratory, this system combines embedded sensing and AI to deliver real-time radiation exposure tracking and personalized risk assessments.
