Maxwell Mamishev is the Founder and CEO of Extentek. He is passionate about advancing embedded systems, assistive technologies, and AI-powered health solutions. At Extentek, he leads innovation efforts like the AI Radiation Health Companion in collaboration with UW SEAL and the NSF STTR program.

Our Story
Extentek began through high school student-driven innovation by Maxwell Mamishev, Nir Pechuk, and Ron Pechuk, who created the first prototype of Spill-O-Not, a contactless material-level indicator for their visually impaired grandmother. Using Arduino microcontrollers, they created a beeping system that alerted when a cup was full. Maxwell Mamishev assumed full ownership in 2025 to continue and expand the company’s research focus.
